From 1st March 2024, Australian Passport and Notarial fees will be payable in Australian Dollars (AUD) via debit/credit card. All applications lodged in Auckland will be payable via cash (in person applicants only), Eftpos, or debit/credit card in New Zealand dollars (NZD). 
Representatives from the Australian High Commission will be in Christchurch on Tuesday 14 - Thursday 16 May 2024 to provide the following Passport and Notarial Services.
  • Child passport – 16-17 years of age
  • Replacement passport
  • First adult passport
  • First Australian passport
  • All Notarial services
Bookings  can be made via our online booking system: and be available from 09:30, 1 March 2024. Book early to avoid missing out on an appointment. The Australian High Commission will only accept credit card payments in Australian Dollars (AUD).
