Funding can only be used for an Australian individual or group to speak, perform, or attend a function in support of the following Australian High Commission objectives:

  • Showcase Australia as a valuable and active bilateral partner for New Zealand across the five areas of the Trans Tasman Roadmap to 2035: Sustainable, Inclusive and Prosperous Economies; Security and Resilience; Active Partners in the Pacific; Upholding shared principles and values; and Our Peoples.
  • Demonstrate Australia’s contribution to Pacific and Indo-Pacific regions that are peaceful, stable, prosperous and resilient.
  • Promote bilateral partnerships, understanding and exchange, including between our First Nations People.

You must provide a Public Diplomacy Application form, budget of costs and explanation on how your event will align with an objective above.
